Listed below are dates and times for referee seminars in District 4 for 2008.

September 20th  Albert Lea City Arena 8:30 AM-4:00 PM level 1, 2 , &3.

September 21st  St James Country Club 10AM-2 PM Advanced level 3

September 27th New Ulm Civic Center 8:30-4 PM level 1, 2, &3.

October 12th All Seasons Arena Mankato 8:30-4 PM Level 1&2

Oct. 12th All Seasons Arena Mankato 5-9 PM Advanced Level 3

To attend advance level 3 you must be 21 years old or older and have been a level 3 for 3 years or more.

You must pre register prior to the seminar by going to www.mhoa.us and click on register for seminar.

The North American Hockey League is well represented in District 4. Last year Owatonna and Mason City had Junior A teams in their cities. The team in Owatonna decided to move which left one team in Mason City.

The District went to possibly just one team to 3 teams in Dist. 4. the communites now that will have NAHL Junior A teams are Mason City, and new teams in Albert Lea and Owatonna.

The Junior A league prepares players to play college hockey.
